Mac vs. PC the feud lives on
All arguments and TV commercials aside, it basically comes down to a matter of personal preference, or in the case of diehard windows users, the willingness to learn something new.
There is the argument that Macs are impervious to viruses, which is appealing to heavy duty internet surfers. Some may disagree, due to the increasing popularity of Macs, they claim vulnerability is inevitable. Side note - being an owner of both, the Mac still wins, hands down.
Kids seem to adapt to the Mac very quickly and have fewer problems converting their brains from PC, like some of us adults. It is probably just a matter of having no old habits to change.
When researching the internet to compare the two, it is quite difficult to find anything other than pro Mac sites, which tend to be very biased against PCs. Not that they are trying to defend anything in particular, just perhaps due to the fact that the Mac users are still in the minority when it comes down to the numbers.
In the end, they each have their good features and their quirks. Basically it all boils down to personal preference, which type of applications you use most often, and the primary use your computer will serve. If you are into making music and videos for example, the Mac seems easiest to use. If you are using it for business and cannot separate yourself from windows and microsoft office, then you may prefer a Windows PC. Now don’t go crazy on us, Mac users, it is just an example! And yes, we know you can now install Windows on a Mac (but why?).
